I've been a photographer since I was about 10. I was a journalism major as an undergrad, and loved photography classes and darkroom work, along with the reporting and writing. After college and then getting married (to another journalism major. He's now a Bay Area journalist), I did some freelance sports photography on the weekends. I opened my Flickr account after reading about Project 365, which looked like fun and a way to enhance daily creativity. It has turned out to be good, too, to create an inventory of photos I use to illustrate stories and concepts in training I create and mentoring I do with business clients.
