I love to take photos. I live in the midwest and I love to travel. I love to see (and photograph new things). I especially love to photograph wildlife, Cars, Motorcycles and anything that exudes style! I always try to learn new techniques, and find new subjects to photograph. I am an equipment junky, and never have enough equipment (Or money) to satisfy my want to take superior photographs. I would love it if you commented on my pics. I am here to learn and share. Jon literally came out of nowhere for me on Flickr. The brilliance of his composition and the amazing detail and clarity he gets in every shot are the first things I noticed. He has a patience and a regard for quality that I can feel by looking at his photos. He's not haughty in any way; he simply enjoys photography and capturing pieces of the world in his unique way in order to present them to us. What struck me was how GOOD his photography is. I've shot similar subjects in the very same places Jon haunts, and I've come nowhere close to his quality and presentation. But he pushes me to improve; he inspires me (newbie that I am) to want to learn and grow as a photographer. Mostly he helps make me want to show the world the beauty of nature where I live, in northern Illinois and the Midwest U.S. I feel a kinship to Jon in that regard. I'm always looking forward to Jon's next post!
