Photography is a deep love of mine. I have loved it ever since I can remember. In 2006 I finally was able to purchase a SLR camera (Nikon d70s) and really learn about the "art of photography" and expand my love for photography. I took classes, and then in the Fall of 2006 I enrolled in a diploma program at The Washington School of Photography. I graduated top of my Class in September 2007.

 

I currently am a social worker, who works with children and families doing adoption and foster care.

 

I have been given the opportunity to mix my current job and my love of Photogrpahy to shoot for The Heart Gallery. (The Heart Gallery is essentially where there are pictures of children awaiting adoption shown at various locations in the metro DC area..)

 

I am trying to start my own business. I have shot 5 weddings, two by myself and three with another photographer. I have also had my pictures in several gallery shows. I also participated for the first time in "Art - O - Matic 2008." I have sold several of my pictures at the gallery shows. Most of my pictures are for sale, please feel free to ask me, and I will be gladly to sell them to you.

 

I love taking pictures of Nature, Animals, People, Bands, Portraits, Weddings, and Historical Venues.
