I used to make my living in the Canadian oil business which enabled me to travel to many spectacular places. Now retired I am hoping to be able to keep up those travels, maybe to "warm" spectacular places. I enjoy photography as it allows me to capture and share many of those beautiful places. My wife and I live on a small farm, we called Dogpound North, 40 miles NW of Calgary, Alberta, and many of my photos are shot right there on the farm or within a mile or two.
The equipment I am using at present is
Canon EOS R5
Canon 7D MKII
Canon EF 70-200 F2.8L IS USM
Canon EF 100-400 F4.5-5.6L IS USM
Canon EF 24-105 f4L IS USM
Tamron 150-600mm G2
Tokina 11-20 f2.8
Canon 6D

This Guy is a legend!! He takes great photos, doesn't take himself or others too seriously but always spares the time to check out what we're all doing and add a comment...usually humerous or encouraging!! We have never met in person but I count him as a friend and hope one day that he and his wife may visit us 'downunder'. If you check out his photostream you will soon realize that this man does not waste time, he cuts to the chase and only offers the very best. You are an inspiration Mate!!
Read lessJB Bar never takes an errant shot; each is considered and gives an insight into something of interest. He has taken us on tour, into his life, into his heart, across borders, up mountains and down river. I love visiting his world and I know you will too! Thanks John! Sue Nichols aka Couleewinds
