Unlike a lot of photographers, I don't have a particular medium the strikes me. I like to shoot landscapes mostly but that's because I'm surrounded by beauty here in Arkansas and I don't have to rely on anyone but good ole' mother nature to provide me with a canvas.

Macro is fun, too. I don't really have all the gear or even knowledge to take really great macro photos. Eventually, I will get more into that area of photography because it will vastly expand my canvas.

Portrait work is fun, too! The problem with it is that you have to rely on other people. I've found that they are either to demanding, never on-time, or have no modeling abilities. That being said, I have found some great people to work with, but they are few and far between. Also, you can find models to shoot but they have this silly notion that I should pay for their time. For some it is a job and they deserve to be paid; for others its a hobby and they just want extra cash. I'm not 100% opposed to paying, but you better be able to take direction.

Okay. I'll shut up now.

A few quotes I'd like to share:

"How the fuck did I end up here? The house responds with resounding silence. No divine attention. Not even an amaurotic guide" ~House of Leaves

"The truth split my skull open, a glaring green light washing the lies away. All of my past was just fragmented still shots, words hanging in the air like balloons." ~Max Payne
