I've been photographing since 1976 at age 13, when I first became fascinated with photography. I am very much a child of the film age.

Even in this digital age, I shoot mostly film using a variety of cameras, from vintage 120 folding cameras to current Leica MP rangefinders. I am also an unapologetic gear-head with an inexhaustible love of using different cameras & lenses to achieve a particular photographic vision. Film, even when digitized, possesses its own distinctive look.

Often I seek to create a vintage feel to my photos, informed by my interest in archival photos and a desire to preserve particular moments in our ever-changing world.

Specialties include sailboats & regattas, portraits, fashion, automobiles, & landscapes & seascapes.
