My name is Jayesh Patil and I live in India. I'm a student of Botany with a budding love for taxonomy. I am a amateur photographer which coupled with my love for plants makes it even better. I am most interested in taxonomy of angiosperms and am still a beginner in that aspect. The fact that India has such a diverse flora is all the more a motivation. Apart from a plant photographer I also like to collect plants from different areas.

Since I live near Mumbai, places like Veermata Jeejabai Udyan (Victoria Gardens) and Sagar Upvan (BPT Gardens) are places of constant visit. Also places like Amboli forest, Alibaugh, Matheran and Mahabaleshwar are excellent to see wild flora of Maharashtra.
