A hobbyist teetering on amateurism, who enjoys the artistic approach of photography.

I enjoy going out in my spare time to experience nature and the beauty that it offers. So, my thoughts are, why not capture those moments? I focus heavily on nature photography, specifically landscapes, foliage of many kinds, florals, and wildlife (mostly birds, butterflies, and small mammals).

While you may catch me leaving a comment here and there, I spend most of my time here on Flickr faving the photo shares of those I follow, but also of photos I come across in groups I am a member of, or of photos that really move me found in Explore.

The “Grand Master of Photography” badge you see below, was earned from the DLSR Autofocus group I am a member of. A fun reward that is offered if a photo of yours is well praised by other members of the group.

I hope you find my photostream to be as enjoyable as I hope for it to be. I say that because I personally feel that seeing the world through the eyes of others can be such a mind-opening experience.
