[I am inactive; this is an archive.]

When something catches my eye, I try to take a picture of it because you never know when something will be gone. I view my photos not only as an extension of my memory, but also a form of self-expression. I hope to one day write the story behind each picture in their summary boxes.

Not all of my photos are great works of art, some are simply horrible (see the failed pic tag), but if I upload something, it is generally because it is a view that I can’t reproduce easily or it's so bad it’s funny. I'm currently obsessed with my study of line. I usually work with landscapes and architecture. I also experiment on my friends and family, but sadly you won't find those photos here.

I consider myself an amateur photographer, but I'm a serious amateur. My photographs have been used by International Association Landscape Ecology (US), Sam Houston State University, and Schmap.com amongst others.

Unless otherwise stated, all rights are reserved on my images, but I'm usually willing to work with people that want to use them. The remainder are tagged Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike.
