Jayasankar Madhavadas in our mind hearts and photography is forever etched with railways in India. He is the man for trains, a specialist who shoots trains in all kind of settings. From the trains lumbering around bends in the mountains to trains fighting for their space on the beautiful Dudhsagar waterfall, his photography has it all. Can we call him the Train Man of India.. Definitely yes.!! I have been following his photo stream of late and it is an impressive array of photography artfully and aesthetically shot. His presentation is brilliant and he makes each frame count its weight in pixels whether it is about trains or monuments or the day to day life in India. Go forth and see his slice of visual India. You will love it !

I came across one of Jayasankar Madhavadas' photos while browsing on Flickr. I shared it with some fans of railway travel and they too were impressed. I haven't been to India and maybe I will never go, but Jayasankar's photos make me feel as if I have stood by a railway track and watched the trains travel through the beautiful Indian countryside. His passion is for Indian Railways but he publishes equally beautiful photos on various subjects in India.
