Hi

I started taking pictures way back in 1999-2000 when I was a student of University of Dhaka. I borrowed (permanently) a SLR camera from my friend and started the journey. Got a lot of input from that friend of mine who was a student of one of the prominent photographer. The book "Photography Kalakoushal o Monon" by Md. Rafiqul Islam also helped me a lot down the way. Four years after my experience with SLR, I went digital, but it was Sony DSC H2. By that time I graduated from DU Economics and started my career as a researcher and development professional.

In 2007 I bought my first DSLR, Nikon D200. I went to UK that year to further enrich my career as a researcher. Due to that I could do more traveling in different areas. I was involved with Queen's University Photographic Society. During my stay in Belfast I was fortunate to cover few weddings. I also did some wedding photography in Bangladesh whenever I was in Dhaka.

I love to capture Nature, Landscape and Architecture. In 2010, I could manage the time to take a long vacation and complete a Foundation Course in Photography from PATHSHALA, which enabled me to link with the main stream.

I am a Nikon Professional :) as all my camera gears are Nikon! Everyone around me in Bangladesh and UK, inspired me to invest my time in something I absolutely love, that is, Photography. Now I am back in the comfort of my city and resuming my career as a Development Professional and most importantly my career as 'Photographer'. Being involved in the development paradigms and its implementations, I also hope to do photo story. In terms of experience, I have done significant work in capturing Weddings (both Bangali and Christian weddings) and other events like, birthdays, Diwali, Puja and other social and religious programs/events.

at the end

I would love to share my pictures with all.
