I have never been the group photographer, but have begun to enjoy and appreciate the good snapshot. You know the one...it triggers memories of not just an event or person, but the time and context that surrounds it.

Unfortunately, I currently do photography rather badly!! I am learning, however, and my photos are improving. I am hoping to learn more about scanning and restoring old photos because I have recently acquired (on loan!) some of my grandmother's old photos and whatnot.
