Jason Newport is an accomplished mobile and digital consumer experience expert, advertising agency and media services veteran, and the co-founder of Omnicom Group’s global mobile marketing specialty consultancy, MobileBehavior.

As CMO and Managing Director, he led MobileBehavior’s business development activity, mobile and digital platform development, mobile and cross-media inventory and measurement solution design and definition, insight and experience lab development and client offerings, agency service integration, APAC and EMEA expansion, all cooperative/partner modeling, as well as all strategic solutions development for agencies and brands operating in a wide range of industries.

Mr. Newport brought more than ten years of knowledge and experience to creating a new breed of mobile/youth marketing agency. He specializes in bridging the gap between media and carrier partners and creating new highly integrated off-deck made-for-mobile opportunities for ad-supported networks and their advertiser counterparts.

Prior to founding MobileBehavior, Mr. Newport joined Fleishman-Hillard in 2005 as Vice President, Youth and Mobile Marketing. He led the youth marketing strategy development and activation for Cingular Wireless and specialized in brand strategy, technology, production and integration, business development, and loyalty and retention programs. He also led business and consumer multimedia product marketing for AT&T Wireless.

Mr. Newport held the role of Senior Vice President and Partner at Fleishman-Hillard, and was CMO and Managing Director of MobileBehavior until his departure from both firms in January, 2010.

During his tenure as head of product marketing of i3 Mobile, Inc. Mr. Newport transformed ancillary revenue sources and created true profit centers for wireless carrier partners. He negotiated performance and publishing rights and rates, extended music's relevance to the handset and brought the first ringtone library to market. He furthered this accomplishment by going on to develop an extensive youth and lifestyles product suite for mobile consumers and carrier partners AT&T Wireless and Voicestream (T-Mobile).

Mr. Newport attended Indiana State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing. He is an avid music writer and contributor to popular youth music sites allhiphop.com and SOHH.com, as well as other youth-interest online and traditional media publications. Mr. Newport lives in Darien, CT with his wife Abigail, and their daughters Riley and Maggie.
