I love being a photographer!

The moment I knew I would spend my life as a photographer can be traced back over 20 years ago. I have been involved with photography since I was a young child and spent countless hours developing and printing images in the darkroom I was fortunate enough to have in my home. I was lucky in having a mother who has been a professional photographer since her late teens. The passion grew rapidly and it was no surprise that my first job was managing a photo processing lab. I continued to work in the photo lab through college, mastering the art of color correction, tone, density and development along the way. I flat out love being a photographer and couldn’t ever imagine myself doing anything else. It’s what I do, It’s who I am, It’s what I care about.

I am hands-on in all aspects of the process.

The days of film and darkroom development are just about gone. The digital age brought new challenges, opportunities and ways to present this artistic expression to the masses. (Also gave me plenty of reasons to buy lots of cool new cameras and photography gadgets. :) ) I am hands-on guy and it’s my responsibility to make every image I take a breathtaking, beautiful work of art. I want people to look at your images hundreds of years from now and feel the emotional moments that have been captured. Every image I present to a client is personally touched by me and developed in a style that combines our personalities and my eye. I draw out personalized poses for each shoot and design all my photo albums and DVD slideshows from scratch.

I am a photographic story teller.

My photography is a blend of journalism and fashion style portraits. I present a story through the use of candid journalistic photographs as well as fashion magazine style posed images. I professionally photograph Weddings, Engagements, Bridals, Maternity, Newborns, Families, Events, Corporate and Actors Headshots, and Musicians live performances including the bands media press kits. I am located in Plano, Texas (near Dallas) and travel to all parts of DFW, Texas, and the world. Links to my wedding and portrait photography portfolio are located above and are updated regularly.
