Spending his life running through the woods of northern Brabant, ko_ko_il learnt the secrets of light and shadow as well as the depths and playings of perspective and verticality. His idols being Luke Perry, Jason Donovan and Nery Pumpido, it is needless to say ko_ko_il has had a wide horizon, ever since the eighties. This vast area of interests is clearly represented in his work, not only as a photographer, but even more as a performer. In the spectre of his work, he fathoms the elements of youth and innocence, vivacity and rebellion. He’s also said to be the nephew of Superman’s litlle brother. But, until this day, we can only guess whether this would be true. He also likes chaos, preferably the convertible kind.
