I've been running the London Photos photo blog since 2003.

I think..... brilliant photos can be taken with anything... a mobile phone, a point and shoot or a top-of-the-line Leica. Some of the world's best reportage photos were snapped in an instant with no time to think about composition... blurred, frenzied, urgent. A good photo is instinct, it's luck, it's speed. (And occasionally a dust of Photoshop, but only for exposure and contrast.)
