I'm a railroad photographer at heart, mainly narrow gauge, but I'll also grab a shot of what ever grabs my eye!
The the vast majority of my early photos were taken with a Canon A-1, AE-1, Elan IIe & Elan7, with an assortment of FD lens, my current 35mm film camera is a Elan lle 35mm camera body and a Tamron 28- 200 mm Lens, the Slides/Negatives are being scanned into the digital format usng a Canon CanoScan FS2710 scanner or a Nikon CoolScan V Scanner, The photos were messed with Photoshop, some of the slides/negatives were pretty faded towards the dark side, hopefully most will touch up, in Photoshop. the scanning process is going to take some time as I've got ....... or I should say I've stopped counting at 10,000 + photo negatives. The digital camera's that I've used are a Nikon Cool Pix 4800 ( this died, it got wet !!! ), a Nikon L-12 ( it Died .... well it got wet, but by a friends hand or I should say an ex-friend, who wouldn't help in getting a replacement, let alone saying "I'm Sorry"), the latest point & shoot camera I'm using is a Panasonic DMC-LS70, I'm kinda impressed with the quality of this camera .... I still like to shoot film ( yes, I know it's a dying format ... but having hard disc drive failures is one's curse too!, but nowadays there's the cloud, currently using Google, but beware, google only loads good quality, not the original, even when you pay for extra storage, so my advice, is to use another cloud storage, now I'm using "MediaFire" ) and having the photos projected onto a large screen, is one of the joys of using film, and yes, I also use my big screen TV, to view my photos, as it's very similar to a slide show viewing . Feel free to add your comments, to the photos, it keeps everything interesting !! .... Well I did get that Digital SLR camera, got a Nikon D7100 in late 2015,and have acquired these lens, 35mm 1.8DX lens,a Tokina 11-16-2.8, and a Nikon 18-55-3.5-5.6DX and a Nikon/Nikor 117-50, 2.8 DX and a Nikon 18-140 3.5-5.6DX, just acquired a Nikon D7500 camera body, along with a Tokina 100mm 2.8 Macro lens, a Nikon/Nikor 60mm 2.8 lens, and a Nikon/Nikor 50mm 1.4 lens
