Photography has been a hobby off-and-on since I first received a Baby Brownie as a child. This was followed by a long-lived Yashica J, then a Minolta, 35mm. Presently I use a Canon Powershot G12, with a Canon A430 for backup. Automotive and scenic photography are favourites.

I allegedly retired in December 2008 after 23 years working, mostly in accounting, for a locally-owned group of 29 companies. I also drove charter buses on a casual basis for 25 years, until October 2012, then did vehicle delivery for a specialty vehicle manufacturer (ambulances, police cars, mobility vanes, etc.).

Other interests include my family, antique autos (especially Studebakers), and travel.
