I live in northwestern lower Michigan and run a computer (Mac & PCs) consulting and Web site design business. I am blessed to be able to work in an area I love, one with a no end of photographic and recreational opportunities. (In 20 minutes I can be on my favorite river or lake kayaking!)

I've been into photography since age 10 when my dad gave me his old Argus C3, complete with flash, light meter, and several filters. My interest was re-ignited in 2008 with the purchase of the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ18 and the discovery of Flickr.

Armed with a fun camera, loving the outdoors and all nature has to offer, and living in an wonderful area -- has brought me to finding fun in discovering photography again.
