Just like everyone else I am wandering in the big maze of life. For a long time I was genuinely convinced that my life was heading through this maze towards endless happiness.

I couldn't have been more wrong. My struggle to fit in, build a house, live according to the Norwegian dream, earn a living and acquire endless happiness would eventually destroy me. Life came back at me harder than I would imagine while I was trying to fit into the molds of society. These molds would eventually start to form my thoughts and I started to drift away from my true self. My projects and photographs are safe-havens and chances for me to become strong again. I don't shoot big amounts of pictures during a photo session. For me every picture is a creation which deserves time and attention. Eventually the picture becomes a part of me.

I love to shoot my pictures using a Kiev 88 medium format camera. Film photography possesses a special organic look and feel. I am physically a part creation through the entire production.
