Flickring Off and On since 2009.

As a child, and much to the dismay of my mother, I tore labels from shampoo bottles to create collages on the shower wall and I made string-art from my used bubblegum. Then, my crayons melted in the heat of our car's rear window, creating a colorful pool of wax. Dad was more than dismayed about that ! As an adult, I have grown to love my camera; because, well... digital photography is neat !!!

My photos cover a broad range of subjects -- mostly chance, outdoor encounters in natural light. I like the flexibility of manual settings and shoot with the end result in mind, preferring to keep processing to a minimum (but I tart things up on occasion). I always strive to capture scenes that tell a story rather than documenting an object.

I am more interested in photos and photographers/artists than counting stars. When time allows, I dive deeply into the photostreams of those who interact with me. I especially like MY "Faves" by talented photographers and artists from around the world. These are photos I REALLY love and admire, not merely a trade for favoriting (is that even a word?) my photos. You inspire me ! I have become a much better photographer through my relationships here -- Thank you.
