I'm an English woman living in Occitanie Southern France since 2003. I renovated an old village house in Verzeille which I ran as a b&b ... 'maison de charme' under the name Colours of Pays Cathare until a huge fire destroyed it in September 2016 .

I moved into an elegant old French apartment in the old Bastide of Carcassonne, with its 2 UNESCO sites, the ancient Cite on the other side of the river, and Canal du Midi.

I started photography to market my business, with a focus on local tourism, landscape, medieval villages, abbey and chateaux in the area, the curiosities and cultural differences ... and small details that people often miss. This is a fabulous area for photography ... with clear natural sunlight that has always attracted artists.

I have a degree in humanities and art, am very creative and started making fantasy jewelry in 2015, so am also interested photography as an art form and to show my creations. I now have a beautiful studio overlooking a quiet courtyard .. perfect for moments of creativity .. and a large hall where i display my colourful, wearable art, objects and amusing figurines.
