You are such a special human being, such a lovely soul and you simply "make" people get closer to you, where they want to stay forever. It is rare to find a jewel like you, Jan. I am sure you have your problems as anybody else, but you have a way to be always happy, in "spite" of the bitter moments of life and that is so admirable about you. Your pictures are the mirror of this amazing beauty inside of you and your generosity makes you share it with us, the lucky "beings" who are called your friends. The first time I wrote my testimonial to Janoid was many, many months ago… I still refer to her as “Negra” and by now you all know that in my culture that is an endearment… I will start off by saying that I’m perhaps the most unabashed admirer of her work and her personality… She is perhaps the most loving human being that I have had the privilege to know… Her warm smile radiates across the 2,600 that separates us… This is a person who shoots with her heart and soul… Therefore I will now refer to her as a shooter… She looks at the light with the same passion that I have… and I know she has grown to love the light as I do… I’m constantly amazed by her shooting skills and creativity… Yes! It has been nearly a year since I wrote a testimony about Jan...I am just adding more.. Her light painting and the macro images are out of this world...Wonderful images from flowers to sunsets on the Utah mountains in her back yard will keep you in awe of her work which has inspired me to keep learning. Also during the year 2007, she has become a grandmother to beautiful ....Bella. Check out her sweet photos of Bella.. If you know Jan then you know her sweet spirit and loving heart. She has been adopted into my family.... Oh, be sure to check for a heart on her work... Sometimes they appear on the mountains, sky, flowers... Jan loves hearts and hearts love Jan.. She is always thoughtful about her comments, and it's no wonder that she is friends with the best of Flickr photographers. However, in addition to that, she is also an amazing photographer with a superb artistic vision and it only takes you about 10 seconds to figure that out as you look through her photostream. I'm particularly impressed with her work with colors and with nature - it is among the very best I have seen online. Jan is one of those whose presence makes Flickr ever more interesting. If I was in Yahoo's management, I'd send her some stock as way of thank you for appreciation she adds to the whole company's value.
