It was about time to give a little spark to my flickr profile!

 

So this is me:

 

I am Spanish. Which doesn’t mean I like flamenco and bullfighting ; the first makes me bored/gives me headaches, I hate the second (I have quite a radical opinion about this but to summarize I’ll say it’s not art, it’s torture).

 

I am a vet (not a veteran yet but a veterinary surgeon, lol), always wanted to be one since I was a kid (like nearly every kid just before they realise it’s not about playing with cute puppies and kittens). I get scratched and bitten almost every day…and I still love it (sometimes).

 

I live in the UK and I quite like it (except for the food and the beach)

 

I am a horrible cook, I couldn’t live without a microwave. I rarely try to cook dishes but when I do the results are just non-edible disasters. So best not to try…

 

I’m not very good at parking either, I failed my driving test twice before I passed.

 

I’m shy, so I don't make good first impressions. People that doesn’t know me think I’m quiet, serious and not a very social person. And grumpy, but this is true sometimes. People that do know me think I’m funny, a bit crazy, silly, imaginative and love to try new different things. And very stubborn.

 

I like to travel. I love to travel. When I’m not travelling I dream about travelling. I haven’t travelled as much as I would like to. I have itchy feet!

 

I also love photography, my first camera was a corporate gift from a travel agent(ande andará). My newest one is a Canon EOS500D DSLR, I also have my compact Sony T200 I bought in the airport in Tokyo, a Holga, a very old Polaroid and a collection of very old cameras bought in antique shops, inherited etc

 

I’d love to go to a photography course as I just do things by instinct, just point and shoot and the results could be much better if I knew what I was doing. Still have a lot to learn but I haven’t got the time right now. :-c

 

I have no idea on how to use Photoshop. So I don’t. Therefore, very few of my pictures are edited and those that are I did it using the picnik thingy or my own camera edition toys.

 

I don’t like to speak about religion, politics or sports and I don’t like nationalist people. Live and let live is my motto.

 

I love "Heroes" , "Rome" and "Father Ted"!

 

I am very lazy. The utmost pleasure in life is to get up late on a Saturday, have breakfast ...and go back to bed!

 

I love to read novels, I'm a compulsive reader. I can stay up really late if I'm hooked to the plot...so the next day I'm really sleepy and tired, and longing for a siesta.

 

I think Flickr is making me a bit of a geek. Or maybe I always was?

 

I'm a chronic nail-biter.

 

I like colourful original things, although my taste is changing, maybe that's part of growing up...

 

Sometimes I think out loud. Sometimes I dream out loud.

 

I miss my dog.
