I have known Janine for several years through Betterphoto.com before she joined Flickr. I have always been in awe of her incredibly detailed and beautiful photography of birds, flowers, landscapes, and children! She works with some of the nicest groups in Flickr and we are happy that she has decided to join us at Better Than Good as a moderator. Just take a look at her amazing gallery of work and it will be instantly obvious why she has so many images in Explore! She is as kind as she is talented, a real team player who takes the time to comment on others work even though she must be a very busy person with all she does! Her work is an inspiration to me to keep on shooting and hope to be as good of a photographer as she is one day!

Me encantan los pájaros que retrata, sobre todo el martín pescador en pleno vuelo (es una maravilla para los sentidos poder captar esa esencia de vuelo maravilloso totalmente quieto y succionando el polén de las flores). Algún día me gustaría captar una imagen así, pero me parece imposible en el lugar en que vivimos, porque ni vemos ese tipo de aves. Tiene unos atardeceres plenos con unas siluetas de palmeras que hacen que sintamos esa maravilla de la naturaleza en esas imágenes con unos cielos espléndidos. Disfruta con sus macros de flores, de tosos tipos y con unos fondos que hacen que sean una maravilla: poesía en estado puro. Gracias por compartir esas imágenes con todo el mundo. Jabi
