Janey is the most amazing person ever. And I mean that. She is so sweet and encouraging and her writing never fails to take me aback by the raw honesty and feeling she puts into it. It's like she pours herself, heart and soul into everything she does. Though we have pretty radically different backgrounds, she and I think very similarly. Getting to know her has been a blessing and almost an adventure. I am so, so, soooo excited to watch her grow through her three sixty five project :) I love you, Janey! Every now and then you find someone who is a kindred spirit. Someone who understands and inspires you. Janey is all of that and more. Sometimes when I read her words and I feel as if she has picked up the pen I just put down and kept writing. I feel that connected to it. Other times I just wait as the words come to life and I watch her stories. Her photography is unique and just adds to whatever she pairs it with. Her spoken word combined with her guitar strumming is just gorgeous. I love how she isnt bothered about fitting in, she is happy being herself. I love her creative spirit and kind heart. Janey Lu... well, like all good things, she's hard to explain in words. Her photos are beautiful. They always have this effortless look to them, like they just kind of happened (I love that). Her writing is amazing. The words she uses, the way she writes... it makes the story seem tangible, real - like you yourself are in it. And that's really hard to do. As for Janey herself, she's well, Janey. I say that because I really can't think of an adjective that would describe her accurately enough. She has excellent taste in music and books, is extremely kind and interesting, a great listener, and has a wonderful imagination. And that's a rather poor description of who she is, but you get the point. I can tell that she is going to go places in life. I'm not sure where, but I am sure that they'll be absolutely great.

It carries that sense that there is something astonishing just up ahead, and you can sense it when you start to read the words that she includes with her images., because her writing.. is just that good! And when it comes to honesty, Janey --- who is known to introduce herself as being "a little broken" is anything but.You will walk around the earth a couple of times I would guess and not find anyone more honest. It shows in her words, it shows in her images. Even a a single visit here will leave you different, better, changed. Janey, is one of the good ones.
