As the name says, I'm Janet!

A newcomer to photography - I started back in 2009 with the purchase of a Samsung s850 digital camera, then upgraded to an Olympus e520 DSLR, thanks to an unexpected windfall.

I take photo's of anything and everything!

Most of my photo's are random images....reminders of fun times and friends, as well as a few where I've tried to push myself a bit and try to be a bit creative! Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, but I have fun trying...

Comments and critique are more than welcome...in fact I'd positively welcome them, as that's the only way I'll learn to improve. I won't take offence at anything, honestly!

I don't have a huge list of contacts, mainly as I don't want to just add random people for the sake of it. If someone adds me as a contact, then I'll do my very best to reciprocate by commenting on their images as best I can.

I don't subscribe to any of the "Post one and comment on ten million!" type groups, and if I get any invitations to join that type of group they will just be deleted, as will any silly stars and invitations to join random groups just to achieve higher viewing stats.

Also, I won't add normally anyone as a contact unless they have at least some sort of profile, due to unfortunate experiences with some rather strange individuals...thankfully, they are few and far between!
