I think I inherited from my architect father (also an amateur accordionist) a precocious attraction to the grafic arts and music. At the age of 7, I took lessons on the accordion, then the piano, at 8 years of age I was already drawing with Indian ink, and at 12 years of age I was already playing around with photographic manipulation. At 15 years of age, I did my first oil painting on a canvas before also trying my hand at contemporary dance, modelling and ceramics.

After drawing and observational painting, my works expanded in the 80s to include the imaginary. Since the mid 90s I have worked in a wide variety of artistic fields: numeric creation, video, in situ interventions, body art, vegetal art, and work in urban areas. No doubt is it through this eclecticism that I find my specificity?

In 1982 I held my first personal exhibition at the gallery l'Encadrerie, in Noumea. Since then I have participed in over a hundred exhibitions or salons both within the region (New Caledonia, Australia, Japan, Tahiti and Corea) and in Europe (France, Belgium, Spain, Hungary, Romania, Yugoslavia).
