As a graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia I learned the basics of Painting, Drawing, and Photography.

As a long time member of United Scenic Artists Union Local 829 in New York, working on Movies, Broadway Shows and TV commercials for many years I was able to work in a collaborative environment that was very exciting and fast paced. The time constraints were like nothing I'd ever experienced before.

Painting, Drawing and Photography are my passions. They are what makes me get up in the morning, sometimes in the middle of the night when I can't sleep because my images are calling to me.

When I take out my camera and capture the unique images in my life; and work with them in my computer, there is a connection to the Divine that is sparked in every creative encounter.

I'm treasuring my time on Flickr. I love this amazing community of artists. I think that what I love the most about Flickr, is that in contrast to the world, we come here to share the best of ourselves, and to praise the best of one another.

Jane is always very delicate in her creations, and she doesn't have only pictures of flowers, but I think that they're very representative of her fine style. She's also a very nice person, one of the most "human" that I've met on Flickr, one of the most cool persons, with which you can talk about all and nothing, always in a friendly manner... and she always answer your questions about her art kindly. Take a look at her delicate collection of images, you will be surprised. Lotta love, Jane!

This must be why I enjoy Jane's work so much. She not only understands the spirit and essence what she photographs, but then she is able to convey this to the viewer. Inevitably I am drawn to her work...her style is distinctive but never boring. I believe pictures say a lot about their authors and so I know I could sit down with Jane and feel as comfortable as if I had known her for a very long time.

Jane's stream is a calm oasis in my hectic life. Before writing these words, I paid another visit to her enchanting photo gallery and after I was finished, I felt a little more peaceful. Her images are both strong and delicate. Her nuanced signature style captures an elegant image, whether a floral, portrait, old building or even a surfer dude, and she bathes it with beautiful dappled light. Each and every photo is an exquisitely crafted artwork. I've never met Jane, yet her images speak for themselves and I know behind the lens is a warm, graceful poet who is passionately dedicated to the arts. Thank you, Jane, for the serene beauty you bring to flickr. Always a pleasure!
