I'm a copy editor, self-taught photographer, writer, and intermittent journalist.

I own my own editing business and am co-editor of a Northern California-based independent press: Medusa's Muse. We just released our second book: "What You Need to Know to Be a Pro," a guide for the DIY small press or self-publisher.

Our first book, Traveling Blind: Life Lessons From Unlikely Teachers, found immediate life in the blogosphere and is entering a second life in teaching institutions.
