I'm a wife, student and sometimes mother-My husband and I have served as foster parents to infants with special needs for about two years. Currently we are looking for a place big enough to do long term placements instead of being limited to emergency placement only. It is a hard job, but the kids deserve to have a stable and loving home, even if it is just for a short time. We love doing it and hope to continue for many years. Due to privacy issues, you won't see any pictures of our foster kiddos here on flickr, but there will be some of my nephew and if we ever have forever children of our own (biological or adopted), they'll be here too.
I am a part-time student at Western Seminary in San Jose (technically Los Gatos, but who wants to split hairs over that?). Once I graduate with my Master's in Exegetical Theology (June 09 if all goes well), I hope to put my training to use by writing Bible study aids and curriculum for high school students, particularly for small groups.
Got hitched in 2003, and love being married!!! My husband, Jason, is the one who got me back into photography after many years of nothing more than the obligatory snapshots. He takes great photos. His flickr is Holbrook4j, if you want to check them out.
I love getting feedback on my photos, because I really do want to learn from you all and improve my techniques and the quality of my pictures. Please be honest, but try to do it kindly :) I will do my best to be a faithful contact, and to provide helpful comments for your photos whenever I can.

It's fun to connect on flickr, especially when you connect over things that have nothing to do with photography. Yay Greek and Hebrew!
