I've always loved the way that a great photograph freezes a perfect moment you otherwise might never have seen, and makes a perfect moment of an object you look at every day.
That said, I'm getting very tired of street photography. Every new "stripy clothed person on a zebra crossing" or "extreme contrast shadow" shot makes me die a little inside. Is this really all we have to say about the world surrounding us? In fact I stopped taking photos almost completely for a couple of years simply down to this fact.
I did then finally come up with some projects for my own work that I hoped would give me more inspiration - and would also help document the entertaining and sometimes very strange world that we live in. And then came the pandemic...
