My second account and it's dedicated to my monochrome photography and in turn, here I am only scrutinizing the monochrome work of others.

A little about my experience with b/w...I was introduced to it as a teen by an art instructor who insisted that we could not shoot with color until we had fully mastered compositional elements in black & white. At the time, this annoyed us all, but I now I realize such a foundation is the necessity to being a skilled photographer.

I also collect photobooks (mainly classic monochrome) for technique and inspiration.
