I'm just a guy, who likes purty pictures.

One of my goals is to preserve some images of our five cats, so that when they're gone (which I hope is in the very distant future), then we have at least some images to go with our memories.

I like the online aspect of Flickr, because as I learned last year when the house burned down, normal pictures-on-paper don't survive fires, and we lost many, of current and previous pets. God forbid we should ever have another fire, but now that it's happened once, I'd just as soon take some precautions just in case fate has another fire in store for us someday. (But fate can't be that cruel!)
