I really enjoy taking photos but wish I had more time to pursue it further! I've not been on any courses, just learn through mistakes and occasional lucky results! I'm an architect by profession which taught me a lot about being aware of our surroundings and looking around. I enjoy pottering about and exploring new places (which often involves old derelict places and "urbex" with a like-minded friend!) I generally shoot landscape subjects but I've been doing more human subjects recently and I've been considering starting the 100 Strangers project for some time but still not got round to it!

In 2007 I did a mostly solo round the world trip - many of the photos appearing here under the Travels collection...

I had a small exhibition of my work at a gallery near Old Street in London in April 2008.

While out of architectural work in 2009/10 I helped to staff Thames21 events in London. They are an environmental charity that organise events to clean up London's waterways
