Tulsa headshot and portrait photographer and owner of Jamil Gotcher Photography. My father John Shoemaker Sr. is a Master Photographer PPA and I assisted him on photoshoots for many years before I started my own photography business. I am also a former International High Fashion Model that walked the runway and modeled in editorials and advertisements in the top tier modeling markets in the world. I modeled in Paris for the Official Haute Couture (High Fashion) Shows and Tokyo Fashion Week (The Tokyo Collections) in the early 90s. I mention this as it gives me experience with posing my portrait subjects and aspiring model clients. I have always been an artist since childhood, winning first place in high school for a portrait I painted from a photo that my Dad merited with that made The PPA Loan Collection. I am looking forward to the comraderie of other flickr members regardless of pro, semi pro or hobby status. I've been doing photography for 14 years now and own Jamil Gotcher Photography. I worked for my father's photography studio (Lassiter and Shoemaker) for 4 years 2000 - 2004, selling and developing new business. I have also taught lessons for runway modeling in Dallas for Campbell Agency and Linda Layman Modeling Agency in Tulsa.
