I dont have any particular style I dont think. I enjoy shooting landscapes, seascapes and climbers but don't like to put myself into a box. If it catches my eye then I like to look a little deeper. Since shooting film, I found myself drawn to black and white photography a lot more.

Photography seemed to find me in someways, and it has had a huge impact on my mental health. It gets me out from the dark recesses of my mind. It gets me into my eyes and seeing, rather than thinking, dwelling, and sinking...

I began to take photography more seriously when I bought a used Nikon EM in Jan 04 and started shooting film. until then, I had just used point and shoot type digital cameras and a phone. I very quickly outgrew the EM, I sold it and went across to the Olympus OM series.

Since shooting film and then learning to develop my own black and white film, I’ve found myself drawn into the simplicity and depth of an image without colour.

Currently, I own in 35mm:

Olympus OM-1n, OM-2n and OM-4.

In medium format I have:

Mamiya C33, Agfa Isolette II and a Kodak number 2.

My primary digital Camera is a Fujifilm X-T2. I also have a Fujifilm XP90 that certainly has its uses still, and a rather old Fujifilm f700 that used to be my Dads.
