My name is Jamie Pitts and I am a Washington State resident. Living in one of the most beautiful states in the country has helped me progress in my art work. Seeing all of the natural beauty – all four seasons, the wildlife, the vibrant colors – gives me daily inspiration that I feel I put into my work. Whenever I see the beauty in something I always wonder how it will look on paper or canvas. I love painting for all the bright colors that jump off the canvas, but charcoal is my favorite for the detail it gives and getting my hands dirty. Reflective surfaces with the contrast between the light and dark always strike me. Everything I create gives me a sense of accomplishment.

Aside from my new husband and stepson, my art is my life. I have done several pieces for my charity, Ducks Unlimited. They hold a bi-annual auction to raise money for wetland conservation, and I am happy to contribute every year. I have several pieces that I am particularly fond of and I paint as the inspiration finds me. I sell my drawings, paintings and I am also available for custom orders.
