Jamie has the eye and emotion such as has not been seen since the innovators of Steichen, Adams or Cartier-Bresson. She sees a world that many of us can only dream about and then gives us that gift by capturing it holding it for use to see. I have always enjoyed the way that she conveys her thoughts, feelings, emotions and insight in her images...images that tell a story. Thank You Jamie for sharing with me and the rest of us. there are integral moments in life when you perchance to meet a soul so kindred and beautiful in individuality and likeness to your own, that you can do nothing but latch onto it... if only to know that you are better for having a piece of them in your life. i'm not altogether certain when i came across jamie's work... but i'm unbelievably glad that i did. a seeker of beauty in every day life... her wit and strength and depth as a human being ooze out through every picture that she takes. some day i'll work my way down the coast to visit her... and we'll walk (or skip) hand in hand, giggling our faces off. or maybe i'll just give her a wedgie and run away... who knows. whatever it is, i look forward to watching the best pieces of her evolve through her photographs.
