This is because the style of his work is really inspiring and how he makes everyday subjects' look intresting through the use of different processing techniques and how he sees the, or a, shot. The simplicity of his work is great and the saying, "less is more" makes his pictures a ease on the eye and pleasing. So, keep snapping!

James is an awesome guy. I met him Via Danbo, and he showed me quite a bit and encouraged me to make my own little creation, thus being Cubee! :) Since I made Cubee, it became my 1st Explore photo, and has gotten me a lot more views lately! I've been following James photostream from his earlier days on flickr. His photostream clearly exhibit his remarkable growth growth as a photographer. James recently got his new DSLR camera and i've really enjoyed his work & experiments from his new camera. One can find variety of great shots in his photostream-portraits, nature, landscapes, star wars toys,reflection,guitar etc. Definitely looking forward to what else his photostream brings:)

There's nothing 'average' about AverageJ's photography. Im not sure when and where I became aware of James' work; I believe we hit flickr around the same time. I become so impressed with his self portraits and have followed his photostream ever since. What I love about his stuff is he seems to push himself beyond his comfortable limits and his work just keeps getting better. James has a GREAT eye for seeing things at usual angles. He has this knack for getting gentle soft flowers one day and army men the next. James, its great watching you grow. Im truly impressed by your photography!

I'm also amazed at the many superb sooc shots he takes, as he doesn't rely on photoshop to create his stunning images. I get really excited to see what he comes up with next, and after we've been out taking photos together, i'll often take a look at his stream and kick myself seeing all the photo opportunities he spotted and I missed!
