I've been taking photos since I was twelve. I am self-taught with many trials and errors, but I have been very fortunate to learn on the job, so to speak, and have been associated with many fine local organizations that have showcased my work: Marietta, Ohio Chamber of Commerce Local Photo Calendar, Parkersburg, WV Historical Society " History by Photos" charity walk at the Parkersburg Art Center; Marietta, Ohio "Artist's Walk" sponsored by GoldLine Jewelers 2008, 2009, etc.

While I do travel abroad as much as I can, I find that some of the best photography comes from my immediate surroundings. West Virginia has it all- raw untouched wilderness areas, abundant wildlife, and very interesting people. I never leave home without my Nikon D3 Digital camera and my tripod. My wife has been my most stern critic and best supporter. My wife hand mattes my large 20x30 photographs which I show.
