My addiction to motorsports started at the tender age of seven, a time when the pages of my second grade journal were dominated by drawings and descriptions of how the four cycle engine worked. Michael Schumacher and the Oreca Vipers monopolized the highly prized real estate of my bedroom walls during those days.

I became interested in photography started by accident when I picked up my parents neglected SLR with the modest intent of photographing my friends riding BMX. Back then digital was still a new technology and the shutter lag was simply too great for action. With time I traded out the film SLR for digital and BMX for motorsports, the rest is history.
