About Me

My name is Steven and I've lived in Chicago since 2006. I graduated twice from the University of Illinois at Chicago, first for a bachelor's degree in sociology, and secondly for a master's degree in urban planning.

I consult on bicycle parking and I co-founded Streetsblog Chicago, a blog about sustainable transportation issues and culture. I also write about cities on Steven Can Plan.

Fuji F50fd (don't buy it)

Sony HX5V (also don't buy it)

Panasonic Lumix GH1 with two lenses: f/1.7 20 mm pancake, f/3.5 14-45mm zoom

Smartphones: An HTC something or other at one point, and various iPhones.

If you are visiting Chicago, please message me as I will meet you and give you a tour if you desire. I may also offer you a place to stay.
