I'm a person who enjoys nature and getting out and traveling. Photography has always been a passion of mine because I see the beauty the world has to offer and I want to be able to capture it.

I started out shooting with a Sony Mavica camera that took 3.25" floppy disks. That was my intro into digital photography. Later on, a local camera shop was going out of business so I bought an Olympus E-500 with two kit lenses. That's when my interest excelled and I started getting some decent pictures of wildlife and nature. Sometime during the time I owned that (I still have it) my job invested in a Canon 5D Mark III. I remember it was about $4000 at the time. I used that for awhile, starting becoming interested in Canon for myself, but when the time came to pull the trigger, I decided to go with Nikon. I now have a Nikon D600 and a Nikon D850. And that has been the path into digital photography for me. I used film cameras before that, but nothing professional. Mostly just cheap point and shoots. The Nikon family has really increased my productivity into all the different genres of photography I enjoy.
