I am a 64 year old born in Berkshire (Now Oxfordshire) Have always enjoyed spotting, started at 12 on Buses and Pickford Lorries (must be a few out there who did this large fleet) Sadly no recordsof this time. Started work at 15 as a l apprentice on the Railway at Reading in both steam and diesel sheds with spells at Swindon and Old Oak so plenty of train spotting. Then have switched between trains and buses with a spell of aircraft spotting thrown in for good measure These days only do aIrcraft tracking due to restrictions and safty
