I have been photographing in the Lehigh Valley and nationally for over 27 years. A graduate of Kutztown University with a BFA in Photography, I found opportunity to explore and then realize a preferred photographic medium during my tenure as a technician and then professional photographer with AT&T Bell Laboratories. Through the daily use of everything from large format studio equipment to the microscope, 35 mm and medium format equipment became the tools of choice; migrating to digital about 3 years ago.

After leaving AT&T, I maintained a freelance and fine art career during the last 9 years; exhibiting in a number of group shows, including the Payne Gallery and Technicolor Grand. The Purchase Prize winner in the Bethlehem Fine Arts Juried Exhibition in 2006, the First Place winner in the Industrial Photography Magazine’s national annual competition in 1997 and many other winning results in between, some of my work has appeared in various national and international publications including NY Times, Industrial Photography, Optics and Photonics, and others.

“Finding the extraordinary from the ordinary is a photographic aspiration”. Whether its capturing the beauty of color, texture, and architectural features in the reminisce of a factory; or the relationship of people with their environment and each other in portrait or street photography…the extraordinary is there to be found.

‘Bethlehem Steel supported my immigrant grandparents and was an integral part of my family history. Exploring the beauty in this historic relic was inspirational.’
