Photoblogging is fun, and easy, even if you have any sort of doubt let me please try to convince you that you have it in you!
I'm a friendly 19 year old and just started College in cold Wisconsin, working out some struggles in life. I've been taking pictures for many years, although I've been here on flickr since August 2005. That's right about when I got my First DSLR. Photography is one of the ways I connect with people, and manage stress. I also am obessed with music, it's a "zen thing for me". As Crazy as it sounds (and is haha) I am in two photography groups in my area, and I'm soon going to start one for people my age with a friend at my school.
I love studying spanish, and do just that every single day and hope to be fluent eventually. I take spanish conversation in college. (if you speak spanish and would like to talk with an insightful young college kid please don't hesitate, I won't turn anyone down!)
Realizing my frequency of phototaking has been lower than where I have wanted it to be. I am taking my camera with me 6 days a week, I've been passing up way to many oppurtunities when I haven't had it lately!
(update doing great with the camera a day mentality please help me realize this is the right idea, It's working great but an extra push wouldn't hurt!)
I also love to walk for hours listening to music. I hope to do a lot of running once spring arrives. (walking around for hours in the cold listening to music sounds like a thing drugies do, I am not a drugie, and am just smart enough to realize the drugs that are throwing my friends lives down the toliet in their confused fun and most definitely isn't worth all the possibilities they've ended, the doors they closed. It's sad. I can't say enough)
I have started using a retro manual focus SLR from 1978, to teach myself how to be a photographer.
I have done a little professional work in the past, although recently I have been blessed and I'm doing more.
If your a person who loves recieving, as well as giving comments that took thought and time. Please add me as a contact. (sometimes it's not so much the time as it is the care)
Peace everyone.
~ John
PS: I live without the internet, I used to spend countless hours a week on it. now that I don't have any I'm out doing things I always wanted to do, like taking pictures more often then viewing them!! :) I check back in to flickr every few days.
any questions about anything just ask! Please don't post pictures under my photos, it's distracting. Thanks! :)

The most enthused dude I have ever encountered within the entire flickr network. He don't stop, he won't stop, and He don't know how to stop. "a person who is not afraid to anything, most likely will not be afraid to do anything"...darn it, I make sense..
John is quite amazing. I love seeing his fresh and new perspective. It is so neat to watch and see all of his new photos and to see his new ideas. His kind comments are wonderful as well! One of a kind.
I am consistantly impressed by Jaffa's work. I first got into his stuff looking through his car photos. Now I'm addicted to his patterns and post processing. What's next? His stuff never ceases to inspire me. Keep up the shooting Jaffa! You rock.
Jaffa is awesome. He always has the coolest ideas for shots. He always gets the best lighting, and he has some major post prossesing skills. You rock man!!!!!! :) -Josh ☺
