Photography was my Passion and Therapy. Easy going guy. I have been photographing since 1967 and showing my work since 1997. I recently discovered I suffer from OPPD ( Obsessive Post Processing Disorder) :-). I find taking extra plug-ins help for that. I was a member of the San Luis Obispo Camera Club, was the Central Coast Photo Society, was The PhotoMorroBay Group and STILL the F11 Group (however, I haven’t been to a meeting in years) I NO longer show at the Gallery at Marina Square in Morro Bay, California on the Embarcadero. I used to love to be outdoors capturing the beauty of nature and sharing those images with others. My intent was to share my Enthusiasm, Joy and Passion of Photography with others. Photography is Luck, Patience, a Sturdy Tripod, A Clean Sensor, PhotoShop, Other Programs and lots of Expensive Plug-Ins with a Good Long Nap thrown in there every so often.

My previous work has won a Merit Award in Black and White Magazine 2013 Portfolio Contest, Single Image Award in Black and White Magazine 2014 and Excellence Award in Black and White Magazine 2014 Portfolio Contest. I have received a 2nd place and (6) Honorable Mentions in the 2016 Moscow International Foto Awards and (3) 2016 Fine Arts Photography Awards nominee from London. I have also been honored with other local, national and international awards.
