A struggling writer trying to be a better photographer...because a picture is worth a thousand words...and even a million words don't say it all...

"It's not in the camera, it's in the brain," I remember my photojournalism professor saying back in college. So in the absence of a better camera, I'm using a Canon Powershot point-and-shoot, hoping to check if my brain is indeed as artistic as I thought it is.

I hope to get my hand on an DSLR soon though! But that's after I figure out how a petite clumsy girl like me can carry a heavy bulky piece of expensive equipment without breaking it into pieces (and looking funny!)
