I love to take photographs, to write, to read, to meet new and interesting people and go to new and interesting places.

I lived in England for fifty years. Then, after a couple of months travelling across the United States and two weeks in Rarotonga, I started a new life for in New Zealand in January 2010. It's the best thing I ever did and I've made some great friends and am lucky to live in a beautiful country.

My primary use for flickr is for storing and sorting photos and sharing them with my friends & family.

However, after acquiring a nice camera, I took some rather nice ones - those of which I'm either particularly proud or which I particularly like for some other reason can be found in a set called 'The Best'.

If I fave a photo I always leave a comment. I'd like it if you did, too.

I consider life to be too short to be in groups that have compulsory comments. Therefore I'll decline invites to compulsory comment groups.

If you count changing planes then add Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates.
